For example, your old computer has name JOHN-PC and after upgrade, reinstall Windows or installing Windows on the new PC you named it JOHN-PC again.
1: Login to Spreadsheet Tools Customer Service.
When you order your xlCompare license, we create an account for your in the Customer Service Area, which keeps your activation history. Login is your e-mail and password is your Order Reference Number.
2: Switch to the Activation page.
3: Find Activation Key for your PC and copy it into clipboard. Make sure, you've copied full key without extra characters and without losing any characters from the key.
4: Start your xlCompare, and select Help | Activate command.
5: Select
6: That's all. You've activated your xlCompare again.
Many users after getting new PC doesn't change the default name offered by Windows. In this case computer will have a new name. To transfer the license, please do the following:
1: Login to Spreadsheet Tools Customer Service.
Login and password are described in the case above.
2: Switch to the Activation page.
3: Find Activation Key for your PC and delete it with red X button. This procedure restores your Activation Key and you can use it again to activate xlCompare on your new PC.
4: Start your xlCompare, and select Help | Activate command.
5: Activate Excel File Compare online by entering your email and Share It Order Reference Number. Get a message about successful activation.
6: That's all. You've activated your xlCompare again.
